20+ Controversial Illustrations Polish Magazine “Polityka” - Igor Morski

I’m a Polish graphic designer, illustrator and set designer. Presently, I focus on mixed media graphic art based mainly on photo manipulation, drawing, recently also 3D.

I’ve graduated with honors from the Interior Architecture and Industrial Design Faculty at the State Higher School of Fine Art in Poznań (now the University of Arts). In the late '80s and early ’90s, I worked for public broadcasting company Polish Television creating a set design for TV theatre, culture, and commentary shows.

Here are some illustrations that I made for Polish magazine "Polityka" (eng. Politics) referring to contemporary Polish problems.

'Welsh Monsters & Mythical Beasts' is an illustrated compendium exploring the mythical creatures of Wales, comprised of ink and watercolors. 80+ Nature Art translation Aaron Schuerr

Aaron Schuerr has many descriptions to his name: artist, writer, actor, husband, and father. And while all have a certain distinction to them, one of those connects him to other people on a much deeper level. Art is what Schuerr uses to translate the experiences of nature to other people. "Though painting is largely a solitary endeavor, it is never a lonely one because I am invited to share in the ineffable mystery of beauty," he explains. Schuerr's artwork encapsulates the beauty of nature, portraying various landscapes in vivid colors and combinations. David Charles Hahn: Radioactive Boy Scout Story

The story of David Charles Hahn (1976-2016) is not an ordinary one. The boy, since his early years, was always fascinated with chemistry and science and conducted numerous chemical experiments just for fun. However, no one really expected that one day he would actually build a fully functioning nuclear reactor in his own backyard. Back in 1994, in a shed next to his mother’s house, the then 17-year-old David Hahn made a nuclear reactor from batteries, old clocks, lanterns, uranium from Czechoslovakia and duct tape.
